my childhood home (WIP)
This environment project is a replica of the home I grew up in. I took many photo references to get the measurements in order to accurately depict the details and dimensions of the space. The paintings on the walls, clock, wallpaper, and fridge magnets were scanned into textures I made in Photoshop. I painted in the Normal Maps on the many of the materials such as the floor to get the ridges accurate. All props and their UVs were made Maya, the materials were made in Photoshop and Substance Painter, and the render of the environment is in Unreal. The rooms themselves along with the lighting and post-processing were made within Unreal. This piece is still being developed and will be updated periodically.
