SPINOSAURUS

On this project, I researched the current scientific thinking of the anatomy of Spinosaurus. This includes their shorter legs and tail built for swimming. I used my experience of making the T. rex project a few years ago to create this model. I researched other animal textures such as those from crocodilian and other semi-aquatic reptiles to create the scaly texture. I made the HiRes in ZBrush, UVs and topoly in Maya, materials with Substance painter and Photoshop, and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. For the artistic image render with the background, I used Photoshop and original images I took to create the scene. I used similar lighting for the posed model to marry the images together.
